The Player Performance League

This league is where all of the in-game stats are recorded. Players gain points from simply playing a game to scoring and assisting goals and everything else that comes in between. At the end of each game, there is a Man of the Match, 2 addition bonus rewards for players that perform well and defensive bonus points for when a defender or goalkeeper scores or only concedes one goal in a game. In addition to this, at the end of each week we have a Team Of The Week and if a player is selected for this XI then they also gain points. There are penalty points deducted for a variety of things that put the game at risk or cause the organisers difficulty. Please see below for the full breakdown of the points system:

  • Game played +2 points

  • Goal +4 points

  • Assist +3 points

  • Man of the match +5 points

  • Bonus (2 players per game) +3 points *

  • Clean sheet (Goalkeepers & Defenders only) +10 points

  • Defensive Bonus (Goalkeepers & Defenders only) +3 points **

  • Penalty save (Goalkeepers only) +3 points

  • Penalty miss -2 points

  • Team of the Week selection +3 points

  • Late drop out (after confirming they are playing) -5 points

  • Late -10 points

  • No Show -20 points

* 2 players per game are selected as outstanding performers in addition to the Man of the match.

** Defenders & goalkeepers who concede only a single goal or score a goal in a game receive this bonus.

Player Results League

This league is based solely on the outcome of the games that players play in. Each game you play in ends in either a win, draw or loss. A win, as in most footballing settings gains a player 3 points, a draw 1 point and a loss 0 points.

The question you may ask is 'How can I win the league if I don't play as many games as another player?' To combat this, we split the standings into 3 different sections at the half way point of the season. Points per game will also be used in each division once the leagues have been set.

The Goalkeeper League

Naturally, goalkeepers have less chance of winning the Player Performance League than outfield players, as there is less opportunity to gain points. This is why we have a separate league where the goalkeepers compete against one another in a combined league that amalgamates the Results League and the Player Performance League stats to identify who is the number 1 'cat' in The Establishment.
